Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal is now the ray of hope in Tamil cinema. He is one of the biggest action heroes in Tamil cinema. Not only as an actor but also as the Secretary of the Producers Association, he has brought many changes to Tamil cinema. And, he continues to voice the problems in cinema.

Vishal’s latest film ‘Mark Antony’ was released recently and became a huge blockbuster. It became the first 100 crores grosser for Vishal. Produced by Mini Studios, Mark Antony has released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. The actor revealed that he was shocked when he was forced to pay a bribe when applying for a Censor Certificate in Mumbai for release in Hindi.

Vishal appealed to the Prime Minister of India and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra to strongly condemn this matter. Following this, the concerned officials were suspended and the CBCID is investigating the case in this regard. Now, the central government has brought a drastic change in the process of acquiring the censor certificate for Tamil films in Hindi.

Until now, the censor certificates for the Hindi version of the Tamil films can be acquired only in Mumbai but now it is announced that the movie makers can get them in Tamil Nadu. Notably, this method is applicable for Hindi releases as well as Telugu, Malayalam and other languages which were already in practice. This change brought about by Vishal is seen as a boon to Tamil cinema producers. Due to this, many celebrities are thanking and congratulating Vishal.
