The big breaking news of the day is that top commercial filmmaker Venkat Prabhu’s daughter is making her debut in the film industry. Congratulations are pouring in for the youngster on social media.
The Ilayaraja family has produced some of the finest entertainers in Tamil cinema who include Gangai Amaran, Pavalar and R. D. Bhaskar in the older generation. In the current generation many from the Isaigniani family are shining in the film industry including Yuvanshankar Raja, Karthik Raja, Bhavatharini, Venkat Prabhu, Premji and Vasuki Bhaskar.
Now the latest to join the rankis is none other than Venkat Prabhu’s daughter Shri Shivani who is making her debut as lyricist in her father’s upcoming bilingual film ‘Custody’, slated for release worldwide on May 12th
While the post-production work of ‘Custody’ is in its final stages, it has now been announced officially that Shri Shivani has penned the song “Head Up High” releasing on April 10th as the first single from the film. Shri Shivani has already sung songs in the album ‘Thai’ when she was 5 years old and it is a double delight for her that her first movie as lyricist has music by her grandfather Ilayaraja and uncle Yuvan Shankar Raja.
‘Custody’ is produced by Srinivasa Silver Screens and stars Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles with Sarathkumar, Arvind Swamy, Priyamani, Sampath Raj,Premji and Vennela Kishore among others in the supporting cast.
